Bowie Breakouts: The Contents of LOVING THE ALIEN (1983-1988) Go Solo!

Back in October 2018, David Bowie fans were blessed with the release of LOVING THE ALIEN (1983-1988), a box set which offered up the three studio albums Bowie released during that period of time – including a revisiting of NEVER LET ME DOWN as well as the original version – plus two live albums (SERIOUS MOONLIGHT: LIVE ’83 and GLASS SPIDER: LIVE MONTREAL ’87), a 12” collection (DANCE), and RE:CALL 4, a compilation of non-album singles, single versions, and B-sides from his various albums and soundtrack releases of the era.

For those of you who were left wondering if there was any chance of seeing some of the box set’s contents released individually, today’s the day it finally happens. Granted, it’s not everything from the box set – sorry, folks: DANCE and RE:CALL 4 remain exclusive to that set, as does the 2018 update of NEVER LET ME DOWN – but it does mean that you’re now in a position to pick up copies of the following albums on CD and LP:
