Instant Gratification: Barenaked Ladies, “Long Way Back Home”

Given that they’re celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, it’s fair to say that Barenaked Ladies have probably reached a point in their career where most people know that there aren’t actually any ladies in their lineup, and if one had to point to a reason why, it’d probably be their 1998 album STUNT, which is – in addition to being the most successful studio album in their discography – the LP that graced the world with their breakthrough U.S. single, “One Week.” 

In celebration of the album’s 20th anniversary, Rhino will be releasing an expanded edition of STUNT, and it’s chock full of BNL awesomeness, including not only a CD featuring the original album and several bonus tracks but also DVDs containing the band’s Barenaked in America documentary and the Stunt Tour concert. We’ll also be releasing the album as a double-LP set, and while that doesn’t include everything from the CD set, it does contain a couple of the aforementioned bonus tracks. 

First, here’s the bad news: the CD/DVD set and the double-LP set won’t be out until September 28.

Now, here’s the good news: the music will be available digitally and via streaming services on July 6.

Lastly, here’s the best news: you can check out one of those bonus tracks, “Long Way Back Home,” right now!
