Now Streaming: Ramones, “Do You Wanna Dance?”

Earlier this year, we celebrated the 40th anniversary of the first of those two albums, LEAVE HOME, and later this month we’re celebrating the 40thanniversary of the other one, ROCKET TO RUSSIA.

On November 24th, Rhino is issuing ROCKET TO RUSSIA: 40THANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION, a 3-CD / 1-LP set which features two different mixes of the album (a remastered version of the original album and a new 40th Anniversary Tracking Mix by original engineer/mixer Ed Stadium), a number of unreleased studio recordings, and a previously-unissued recording of the band’s 1977 concert in Glasgow, Scotland.

Yes, we know: we told you this one week ago today, when we offered up that link which gave you the opportunity to preview the MediaSound Rough Mix of “Why Is It Always This Way?” (If you missed that post, you can check it out by clicking right here.)

If you’d like to get a sample of another track from the upcoming reissue, we can make that happen…or, more specifically, the Ramones’ official Facebook page can make it happen, as they’re exclusively streaming the 40th Anniversary Tracking Mix of “Do You Wanna Dance?”

Heck, we’ve even put together a video trailer for this reissue, so you can get additionally jazzed:

For fans of these Bruddahs from Queens, this deluxe edition is going to be like getting Christmas a month early, so we might as well tease you a little more by closing with the full track listing for all the versions of the reissue that’ll be hitting stores on November 24th.

Okay, brace yourself…or if you’ve been braced since last Wednesday, then maybe take a quick breather – because, seriously, it can’t be healthy to do that much uninterrupted bracing – and then re-brace yourself, because here’s that track listing…
