Over the course of their career, Jethro Tull’s music has been variously described as rock, prog, and folk, but nowhere did the full trifecta come into play more wonderfully than on the band’s 10th album, SONGS FROM THE WOOD. Although it hasn’t always been viewed as a stone-cold classic, time has been quite kind to the LP, which has remained a fan favorite while also inching its way up the ranks of the critics’ list of Best Jethro Tull Albums of All Time, as well it should.

Whenever a band releases a new album, it generally inspires fans to take a step back and give a good listen to all of the other albums in the band’s back catalog. As such, since Depeche Mode released their latest LP, SPIRIT, a few months ago, we’re sure you’ll agree this is a perfect time for us to reissue their first three albums.
